Life can be so crazy busy that the thought of doing anything else is overwhelming and nearly impossible. In the midst of these season I believe connection is even more important. Connecting our lives, hearts and thoughts help us to grow and become better wives, moms, leaders, students and friends.
When we step outside our comfort zone to be vulnerable and available for woman in similar seasons of life we are able to build community. In community we find help when we are weary, comfort in the pain and we are able to share in our journeys with God.
As I boarded a plan on Wednesday morning I was excited to see what He had for me and nervous about leaving my family. My husband is an amazing husband and father but my heart is seriously at home. I could so easily shrink back and hide away from life and leadership. Yet each and every time I step out of my comfort zone I am blessed beyond belief.
Here I sit four days later energized, enthusiastic and overwhelmed with His amazing plan for my heart and the gifts He has given me. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be apart of a movement of connecting woman, encouraging growth and inspiring change.
As we come together He will help us to rise above the craziness of life and propel us to greater heights. It is almost impossible to gain this perspective without first getting real and raw in an organic non-judgmental environment.
My hope and prayer is for every woman in every country, state, city and town to experience these unique opportunities I have been so blessed to be apart of in the past few years.
As scary as it is to go to those areas of our lives and share the pain, struggle and sacrifice I know in my heart we all want to be seen, heard and accepted.
He made us to for connection!!
What is holding you back??
Grab a girlfriend or two and start connecting!!
